Thomas Tuchel spoke at a press conference on the eve of PSG-Atalanta, then at the microphone of RMC Sport. He notably confirmed that Kylian Mbappé would start the match on bench, but have a good chance of finishing the match.
“If Mbappé has a good training today, and nothing extraordinary happens, he will be in the team tomorrow …”, questioned at a press conference on the presence of his striker this Wednesday evening against the Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League match, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he could play, less than three weeks after his ankle injury against ASSE.
But the German coach left a slight doubt on the tenure or not of his player. A doubt that he then raised at the microphone of RMC Sport: “He will be in the team … to finish the match. It is not possible for him to play 90 minutes, but to finish the match, yes it is possible”. As expected in recent days, the French will therefore be a replacement and should come into play.
While waiting for the last set up of the evening, here is what the composition of PSG could look like this Wednesday evening:
Navas – Kehrer, Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat – Herrera (or Paredes), Marquinhos, Gueye – Neymar – Icardi, Sarabia
