UEFA has formalized the public’s return to the European tournament this summer. Eight cities that have already given their approval are Amsterdam, Baku, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Glasgow, London and St. Petersburg.
In addition to the approved cities, four other cities also due to hold the event (Bilbao, Dublin, Munich and Rome) have “until April 19 to provide additional information on their projects”. In which case, the meetings planned in those places will be played elsewhere.
The capacity of the eight approved cities mentioned above varies according to the locality.
For Hungary, 100% of the seats can be occupied, 50% in Russia and Azerbaijan and from 25 to 33% in the other cities, unless the regulations change in the meantime.
England is considering in particular a vaccination passport as underlined by the federation. Because, London also hopes to confirm a higher capacity for the semi-finals and the final at the beginning of June.
To travel abroad on this occasion, UEFA considers it very difficult to plan ones trip to a host city from abroad. But this will still be possible by following the restrictions put in place by the host countries.
